SESSIONS OF THE BALTIC ASSEMBLY
23rd Session on 17-19 December 2004 in Riga
On 17-19 December 2004, the 23rd Session of the Baltic Assembly and 10th Baltic Council took place in Riga (Latvia). The main topics covered during the Session: 1) mutual information exchange and co-ordination of matters among the Baltic States with regard to the EU and NATO; and 2) social aspects of migration.
Alongside the Session of the Baltic Assembly, the 10th Baltic Council, a cooperation platform for parliaments and governments, was convened.
During the Session, the Baltic Assembly Prizes for Literature, the Arts and Science were awarded.
